DESCRIPTION:
WW - Hamilton Flintridge, manual wind, 28mm x 41mm to lug tips, 16mm screw lugs, original 14K gold snap back case with hinged top case that allows a button on the lug to open and close the spring-loaded cover, engraved monogram on top as well as an engraved presentation on the rear, vintage black crocodile strap, refinished silvered dial which retains almost all of its original black enamel painted details, luminous paint has been added to the enamel numeral tops, 17J, cal 987-F, s#4217118, triple signed. A fine example of an incredibly hard to find antique Hamilton that does not come up for sale often; truly a great piece for a Hamilton collector and surely the star of any Hamilton wristwatch collection.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, light oxide to steelwork; excellent refinished dial with almost all of its original enamel painted details intact; excellent relumed blued steel skeleton hands with light discoloration; polished case shows light wear, good spring and flip top function, light dings on caseback and bezel; crown shows little wear; good plastic crystal.
